Swatches for Pure Ice Nail polish in Moonlight 1063

Moonlight is a gorgeous shade of grey taupe with awesome violet and blue shimmer. I really like the formula and application. It juts requires two coats , I did a top coat but it does not require a top coat. When I saw this in Walmart, I was little hesistant of taupe color, but I saw it closely and then  saw it has a little purple glitter shimmer in it. At that time I got excited and painted my nails with it the same evening. But somehow, I was not impressed but it does not show on nails much after top coat. It turned little dark in color and I could not see the shimmer. It is a crème formula, so opacity is really good. Beautiful color for Fall and Winter.

11 Incredibly Useful Vaseline Beauty Hacks–Marie Claire

Wet Eye
Swipe across the lid for a clear glossy look on its own, or add shadow on top for extra staying power.
Prevent Lipstick on Teeth
Apply Vaseline to your front teeth to prevent lipstick from transferring on to your pearly whites during application.  Incredibly Soft HandsApply a generous amount to your hands and then put on white cotton gloves (you can buy these at any drugstore). Swatches for Sinful Colors Professional Ruby Mine

Hi Girls,
Happy Diwali:)
Today I am swatching Ruby Mine 1365 , a textured polish from Sinful Colors Professional. I got this from Textured polish collection came in this summer of 2014. Its beautiful ruby red color with tiny specs of gold specs in it. Its textured, so after two coats it dries like a rough surface not like smooth surface like other polishes. I enjoyed this polish, as this was my texture polish and I decided to pick beautiful red color. I think it will be great for pedicures also.

Review and Swatches for Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick– Cherry Bomb 918D

Hi girls, how are you, today I am reviewing and swatching another Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick from my collection called Cherry Bomb 918D
Review:-
Picked up from Walgreens for $2.  This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a matte finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Cherry Bomb is one of the perfect fall color, it is a dark cranberry color, it comes as a maroon, wine color on your lips. As its too dark and bold look, many people don’t feel comfortable with this color. But you can certainly tone it down with light swipe or mix with a different color. But it does stain your lips little. Its  little dry but who cares if you get such pretty color in 2$. You can wear a lip balm underneath and exfoliate your lips and you are good to go. It does not bleed on you it is  a matte lipstick. The only thing I don’t like about wetnwild mega last lipsticks are their packaging. It’s little cheap and half of lipstick still hangs on top when you close the lid. You tend to break your lipstick when you close the lid, so be careful. Swatches:-

How to Repair a Broken Lipstick

Recently one of my Favorite Lipstick came out of tube, I think its because I stored it upside down. So I saw this post which helped a lot, its soo easy to do, just five seconds. The Steps look really big here, but trust me it took hardly 5 seconds.

If your lipstick has broken off but it's still in good shape overall, or if your lipstick has melted in your car and is not in good shape, it is worth trying to repair it rather than throwing it away. There is a system available to repair a broken or melted lipstick using a lipstick mold that allows you to re-create a professionally shaped lipstick and put it back into your own twist-up tube. Start with Step 1 to save your favorite lip color!

Prepare a clean workspace. Place paper towels on the workspace area.

Steps 3 Wear clear gloves. Use the thin, disposable gloves to enable ease of movement.
Step 4 Remove the broken piece. If it hasn't already fallen off, remove it with the gloved hand.
Step 5 Stand the base of the lipstick upright on the workspace. Swivel it up as far as possible.
Step 6 Take a match or a lighter. Carefully run the lit match or lighter underneath the base of the broken part of the lipstick. Slightly melt the area that the broken piece will be attached to as well. Take care not to burn the lipstick or melt the case.

Step 7 Pick up the broken piece in your gloved hand and attach gently to the base of the lipstick.
Step 8 Seal the edges. Use a toothpick or the end of a clean match to gently move the sides of the lipstick together and seal the stick as one piece.

Step 9 Put the lipstick in the refrigerator for about half an hour or until cooled completely.

Step 10 Throw away the paper towels and any resulting mess. Your lipstick is now ready to use as usual.

Review and Swatches for Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Berry Haute 660

Berry Haute lipstick from Revlon Super Lustrous line is a perfect shade for transition of spring to summer. This is a crème finished lipstick, the colour is a mixture of fuschia/purple and pink. It is sold in CV/Walgreens for around 8$ but you can find in Walmart at around $5.

It looks great on tanned/olive skin tones. It is not bright that you can not wear to work, but it is quite buildable, if you want a bolder look for date night. This shade is in permanent collection. When I applied to my lips, it gave me a satin finished but after some time, it was a semi matte. It has a decent moisturizing texture. It stayed around 5-6 hours on my lips, then had to reapply. Some of my pictures are in flash, so it looks way more purple than it is. It does not look that purple in person. It blends very easily and does not look cakey at all, like some crème finished lipsticks do.
