Swatches for Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets Nailpolish

Hi Girls,

Today I am back with another blogpost of Nailpolish from Revlon Parfumerie called Wild Violets. It is from Scented Nail Enamel collection which came around last year.

For the Parfumerie range when the polish dries it gives off a mild fragrance that matches the shade name; as like Wild Violets which does not bother me at all. For some people it was a strong scent. This nail polish has orange/gold shimmer with dark chocolate color. This is perfect for Holidays. I got this for $9 which is pricey on drugstore side. But the shimmer does not show up so prominently, in the sunlight the gold sparkles really comes alive. It requires two coats, one coat was not enough for me. It lasted me five days without chipping.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Sultry is a perfect Pantone Color of the Year Marsala Color

"Sultry" is a great fall/winter pink and is such a rich, creamy color. Velvety Matte Look. Moisture Rich Balm.A beautiful rosy brown with hints of berry. This can work as an every day, every occasion color which would suit all skin tones. This lip balm smells of peppermint. I quite like the smell! The smell fades after a few minutes. Does not feel heavy on the lips.Does not bleed or feather.

But I will suggest thin layer of lip balm underneath, otherwise it highlights any dryness/flakiness and fine lines on the lips.

For some people it was a strong scent. This nail polish has orange/gold shimmer with dark chocolate color. This is perfect for Holidays. I got this for $9 which is pricey on drugstore side. But the shimmer does not show up so prominently, in the sunlight the gold sparkles really comes alive. It requires two coats, one coat was not enough for me. It lasted me three days without chipping, not happy with formula.

Review and Swatches for Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Berry Haute 660

Berry Haute lipstick from Revlon Super Lustrous line is a perfect shade for transition of spring to summer. This is a crème finished lipstick, the colour is a mixture of fuschia/purple and pink. It is sold in CV/Walgreens for around 8$ but you can find in Walmart at around $5.

It looks great on tanned/olive skin tones. It is not bright that you can not wear to work, but it is quite buildable, if you want a bolder look for date night. This shade is in permanent collection. When I applied to my lips, it gave me a satin finished but after some time, it was a semi matte. It has a decent moisturizing texture. It stayed around 5-6 hours on my lips, then had to reapply. Some of my pictures are in flash, so it looks way more purple than it is. It does not look that purple in person. It blends very easily and does not look cakey at all, like some crème finished lipsticks do.

Day 6 - Review and Swatches Revlon Super Lustrous Matte–Mauve it Over 003

Hi Girls,
Welcome to Sixth Day, second last day of Nude Lipstick collection. As promised I will pick one Nude Lipstick for Fair to Medium tanned skin tones girls from my lipstick collection. Here is the sixth one.
Revlon Super Lustrous Matte–Mauve it  Over  003 for $7 from CVS. As the name suggests it is mauve nude matte color. 
It is matte lipstick, but still moisturizing, does not have any scent. I normally wear this with a black or brown Smokey eyes and you can top with a gloss for shiny lips. This is very much wearable shade for work. It is very moisturizing. It does last for long time, it is transferrable but you need to touch after 4-5 hours but does not stain your lips.

Revlon Top Speed Nail polish - Sheer Pearl 020

Hi Girls,
Today I am reviewing this nail polish from Revlon Top Speed line, which is discontinued now, but still might be available in Big Lots or Dollar Stores. I picked on clearance in Walgreens once for just $2.
As the name says it is very sheer pearl color nail polish, need at least two three coats to be opaque. But it is very pretty neutral color, can wear sometimes when you don’t want any colorful polishes just sheer neutral shade, or it is perfect for office. I did a Frenchtip over it, just to enhance the look. You can wear it alone too. I hope you like my swatches, enjoy.
