Swatches ELF Studio Matte Lip Color Hot Commodity

Today I am reviewing a lipstick which I received complimentary from ELF Cosmetics recently for participating in a contest #playbeautifully.
This lipstick from Elf Studio line which is for 3$ (0.06oz/1.8g), which is pretty affordable, drugstore brand, this is their professional makeup and cosmetics line.
This lip color is “Hot Commodity”, it’s a prefect shade for spring and summer.
It’s a perfect Coral lip color and is matte. Its such a smooth and creamy matte lipstick like any other from this line.

• The enriched vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes
• Packaging looks really high end.
• Affordable
• Formula is not drying like some matte lipsticks.
• Very good Pigmentation
• Moisturizing
• Long Lasting ( had to touch up after 4-5 hours)
• Daily Use
• Even Application
• Lightweight
Recommendation:- I would highly recommend this color, I don’t know if other colors have some formula or not, but I absolutely love this color. This is one of the lipsticks I'm actually very satisfied with. The color is bright and it stays on for a really long time.

Review and Swatches for Elf Moisturizing Lipstick–Ravishing Rose 31216

Ravishing Rose is from ELF (Eyes Lips Face) Studio line and is $3 on their website and in local Target stores. It is a creamy rosy raisin, deep pink, is more matte and less shiny. There are 10 more shades in this line. I have one Elf studio lip color which is my favorite red lipstick, so when I saw these in target, I decided to pick one up. In my local target store they had 4 colors on display, I decided to pick this up, as it is a perfect everyday lipstick for fall.

Claims:-
The velvety, satin texture glides on lips with vibrant color and luminous shine. Enriched with Shea and Vitamins A, C, & E to nourish and hydrate the lips. The rich, creamy formula seals in moisture for long-lasting wear and comfort.
Ingredients:-
Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Petrolatum, Ceresin, Ethylexyl Palmitate, Hydrogenated Polycedene, Microcrystalline Wax (Cera Microcrystallina), Polybuten, Paraffin, Synthetic Beeswax, Polyethylene, Copernicia Cerifera (Caranuba) Wax, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Fragrance (Parfum), Butryospermum Parkil (Shea) Butter, Retinyl Palmitate (VA), Tocopheryl Acetate (VE), Ascorbyl Palmitate (VC), Propylparaben.
May Contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491; CI 77492, 77499), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 27 Lake (CI 45410), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 19140), Tin Oxide (CI 77861).
It is really nice and creamy in texture. They apply nicely on your lips, do not tug them or leaves patches. It is semi matte color, does not have any sheen on it after applying. It has some sheen when freshly applied. It was quite long-lasting for me. It has a subtle vanilla scent to it.

Recently ELF Cosmetics (Eyes Lips Face) has come up with limited edition for the Disney Princess collection, last month I posted  some pictures of Ariel Princess. This time they have come up with Snow White, last Christmas they came up with Disney villains Collection also.

Elf (Eyes Lips Face) Cosmetics display at Walmart Supercenter

 

Hi Guys, I recently spotted a full display of Elf Cosmetics at Wal-Mart Supercenter, there is really good collection including new items, and some old items.

This is four way display, including 1$ to $3 from essential to studio line.

Swatches of Elf Essential Lipstick Voodoo

Its very cinnamon red  color lipstick, not true red. But beautiful color for all skin tones, it is just $1.

Pros :-

1. Affordable
2. Very good Pigmentation
3. Very Moisturizing and hydrating
4. Does not stain your lips
5. Lightweight
6. Very good from all skin tones
7. Very creamy
8. Good for price
9. Love the scent

Cons:-

1. Packaging is cheap, mine by mistake fell on ground and it smashed on floor have a huge bump on it now. Used after sanitizing in alcohol.
2. Be careful while closing the lid as some of it still hangs outside the tube when it is new.
3. Not long lasting, came out after I ate and had to reapply, weariblity is just 1-2 hours.

 

Recommendation:-

I would totally recommend if you like red lipsticks, for price its very good color to try on.
