Swatches for Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets Nailpolish

Hi Girls,

Today I am back with another blogpost of Nailpolish from Revlon Parfumerie called Wild Violets. It is from Scented Nail Enamel collection which came around last year.

For the Parfumerie range when the polish dries it gives off a mild fragrance that matches the shade name; as like Wild Violets which does not bother me at all. For some people it was a strong scent. This nail polish has orange/gold shimmer with dark chocolate color. This is perfect for Holidays. I got this for $9 which is pricey on drugstore side. But the shimmer does not show up so prominently, in the sunlight the gold sparkles really comes alive. It requires two coats, one coat was not enough for me. It lasted me five days without chipping.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Painted Purple 20

Maybelline Color Tattoo Painted Purple is perfect Pantone color of the year 2014 Radiant Orchid and this was the reason I got this color some time back. I love purple eye shadows . I didn't have any Maybelline Color Tattoo before so I never had any idea how they are in texture, until I used my first one.

The color payoff without primer is really less, and it feels little patchy and uneven on eyes. This color was not pigmented at all, I was expecting this lilac color a little darker and pigmented. This is beautiful color as a base but somehow this product just smudged on the lower lash line. It is good as base for any dark eye shadows, but if you use it alone, it will be patchy and very less pigmented. Also one more thing, it becomes dry after 4-5 uses, I have this product since 2 months, now and its dried up, so I have to use a eye brush. Overall I was not happy with this Color Tattoo, I am not sure If all color tattoos are like this too or different, as in YouTube community one color tattoo Barely Branded is very famous, some how it did not looked good one me.

Swatches for Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Violet Voltage 445

Happy Sunday Girls, This week I am painting my nails with a perfect radiant orchid color which is color of the year. Its called Violet Voltage from Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear nail polish collection.


This is beautiful orchid violet color, its hard to take a photograph of this beautiful color. This has little tiny shimmer which little golden dual chrome if you look carefully.  This is old formula for this collection, I am not sure Sally Hansen got new formula on this one also as they got for many other polishes called Pacific Blue, Mint Sorbet and Mellow Yellow.

I love this color on my Manicure but I am sure it will be perfect for Pedicure to for spring and summer.

Loreal Colour Caresse - Colour Riche collection in Violet Chiffon 175

Hi, how are you beautiful women out there
Today I am reviewing a very pretty color from Colour Caresse -Loreal ColourRiche called Violet Chiffon.
As the name suggests it is a very beautiful violet color, perfect radiant orchid color, which is the color of the year 2014. But it is not very purple color, it has violet color with slight pink undertones to it. It claims to deliver a feather-light finish without being sticky or heavy. 100% color. 0% compromise.

My Review:-

• First of all, we should talk about this packaging, It is so luxurious, the golden color attracts me. Its very classy but also sturdy looking and its very travel friendly as it closes in that magnetic socket, so it will not open on its own.
• The product, is very pretty lavender shade, quite buildable. It comes on very sheer, but you can use more than one swipe and build it to get your desired shade. The pigmentation is not that great, but I am not sure it is only this shade or other colors from this lien are same.
• It smells ok not that great or strong also.
• It is very light on your lips. Glides on easily and does not feel sticky or heavy at all, but its gives quite shiny look.
• It does not last more than 3 hours, will not survive heavy eating at all. Its does not stain your lips. It does not bleed.
• I will totally recommend this color, if you can still get in your drugstore, grab them. I think they got another line, and this one is discontinued. Its perfect for spring and summer and also for fall. You can wear this at your work daily.

Spring Matte Pastel Purple Nails–Pure Ice Nail polishes

I wore this manicure three times now, since I got this beautiful colors from Pure Ice, you can get these nail polishes for just less than $2 from Walmart. They have excellent choice of colors. Specially this glitter polish is amazing. My husband picked up this color for me.

Nail Polishes used :-

1. Pure Ice - Jail Bait 279CP  (pastel purple color)
2. Pure Ice- Over You 1008 . It is made up of micro and tiny lavender and teal glitter, and had holographic aqua glitter in small hexes and short, stubby bars.
3. For Base Coat Pure Ice 1067
4. For top coat WetnWild 407C Matte Top Coat and Sally Hansen nail growth miracle as top coat.

Steps :-

1. After applying base coat, apply two coats of this purple nail polish.
2. After drying apply matte top coat on all and let it dry.
3. Apply Glitter polishes as French tip on 2 nails and all over glitter polishes on 3 nails. You can always do glitter French tip on all.
4. Apply Sally Hansen top on glitter polish just to secure the manicure and clean up from cotton qtip.
