Swatches ELF Studio Matte Lip Color Hot Commodity

Happy Saturday,
Today I am reviewing a lipstick which I received complimentary from ELF Cosmetics recently for participating in a contest #playbeautifully.
This lipstick from Elf Studio line which is for 3$ (0.06oz/1.8g), which is pretty affordable, drugstore brand, this is their professional makeup and cosmetics line.
This lip color is “Hot Commodity”, it’s a prefect shade for spring and summer.
It’s a perfect Coral lip color and is matte. Its such a smooth and creamy matte lipstick like any other from this line.
  • The enriched vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes
  • Packaging looks really high end.
  • Affordable
  • Formula is not drying like some matte lipsticks.
  • Very good Pigmentation
  • Moisturizing
  • Long Lasting ( had to touch up after 4-5 hours)
  • Daily Use
  • Even Application
  • Lightweight
  • Recommendation:- I would highly recommend this color, I don’t know if other colors have some formula or not, but I absolutely love this color. This is one of the lipsticks I'm actually very satisfied with. The color is bright and it stays on for a really long time.
Here are some lip swatches and product pictures.
I have reviewed one more lipstick from this line called Rich Red which is quite popular.

Swipe across the lid for a clear glossy look on its own, or add shadow on top for extra staying power.
Prevent Lipstick on Teeth
Apply Vaseline to your front teeth to prevent lipstick from transferring on to your pearly whites during application.  Incredibly Soft HandsApply a generous amount to your hands and then put on white cotton gloves (you can buy these at any drugstore). You’ll wake up with super soft hands. This is a great trick to use in the winter when hands tend to be more chapped.

Once a week, mix Vaseline with sugar to create an exfoliator for your lips. Softer Than a Pedicure

Turn any powder blush into a cream by swirling in a dab of Vaseline. Highlighter
Use this as a highlighter on top of your regular lotion. Apply up your shin bone to create slimmer looking legs in photos. Nail Polish Saver
Use Vaseline under the cap on nail polish bottles to prevent them from gluing shut. Perfume Staying Power
Apply it to where you spray perfume to make the scent last longer. Lip Balm

22 Life-Changing Ways to Store Your Beauty Products- Seventeen Magazine

Even a small amount of makeup can make your bathroom or vanity look messy and cluttered. Here are 22 unconventional ways to organize your beauty products using things you probably already own. Who knew a mini loaf pan could be so useful?
1. Use a spice rack as a shelf for your perfume bottles.

 2. Display pretty fragrances on top of a cake stand.
 3. Arrange your everyday beauty products on a revolving spice rack to save space. 4. Toss your makeup brushes in a slim sunglasses case when traveling so you won't lose them.
 5. Store liner pencils, mascara, or brushes in an old pencil box.
 6. Fill a flower vase with coffee beans or beads, and stick your brushes inside for easy access.
 7. Separate your products by category inside of a kitchen utensil tray to organize your makeup drawer. 8. Store your hot tools inside of a decorative magazine holder.
 9. Hang your hot tools on adhesive hooks inside of a cabinet door.
 10. Use the pouches on a hanging shoe organizer to store larger hair products.
 11. Use a desk file organizer to display and store makeup palettes.
 12. Stick your eyeshadow singles into ice tray slots so you can see all the shades at once.
 13. Use a jewelry organizer to visibly store small makeup products.
 14. Adhere magnets to the back of your makeup compacts, and stick them on a metal board to save space while also decorating your walls.
 15. Arrange your makeup in lucite desk organizers so you can see everything that's stowed away.
 16. Line your drawers with plastic food containers to neatly organize cotton balls, sponges, and other makeup application tools.
 17. Stick cotton swabs inside an old candle vase.
 18. Store your nail polishes in a cute cookie jar.
 19. If you like traveling with many different lip shades, remove the lipsticks out of the tubes, and keep them in a clean pillbox for easy transportation.
 20. Stack pretty lipglosses and lipsticks on the tiers of a cupcake tray.
 21. Use a mini loaf pan to neatly organize your lip shades or other small products inside a drawer.
 22. Stick your bobby pins along a magnetic strip so you won't lose them.

Loreal Colour Caresse - Colour Riche collection in Violet Chiffon 175

Hi, how are you beautiful women out there Smile
Today I am reviewing a very pretty color from Colour Caresse -Loreal ColourRiche called Violet Chiffon.
As the name suggests it is a very beautiful violet color, perfect radiant orchid color, which is the color of the year 2014. But it is not very purple color, it has violet color with slight pink undertones to it. It claims to deliver a feather-light finish without being sticky or heavy. 100% color. 0% compromise.

My Review:-
  • First of all, we should talk about this packaging, It is so luxurious, the golden color attracts me. Its very classy but also sturdy looking and its very travel friendly as it closes in that magnetic socket, so it will not open on its own.
  • The product, is very pretty lavender shade, quite buildable. It comes on very sheer, but you can use more than one swipe and build it to get your desired shade. The pigmentation is not that great, but I am not sure it is only this shade or other colors from this lien are same.
  • It smells ok not that great or strong also.
  • It is very light on your lips. Glides on easily and does not feel sticky or heavy at all, but its gives quite shiny look.
  • It does not last more than 3 hours, will not survive heavy eating at all. Its does not stain your lips. It does not bleed.
  • I will totally recommend this color, if you can still get in your drugstore, grab them. I think they got another line, and this one is discontinued. Its perfect for spring and summer and also for fall. You can wear this at your work daily.
