Milani Amore Matte Lip Crème Collection -Limited Edition

Hello Beauties,
Today I am going to review one of the most talked about liquid matte lipsticks, but they are limited edition. Make sure you run by your CVS or Walgreens to find them quickly as they are going out fast as I totally recommend them. They are 8 colors in this collection, from nude to really bold colors, these shades look on different skin tones.
01 Crush, 02 Adore, 03 Beloved, 04 Lust, 05 Embrace, 06 Desire, 07 Romance, 08 Flirt
I was skeptical to pick these as I had bad experience with liquid matte lipsticks  with few other brands. But there was so much hype about it, so I decided to pick them. I picked 5 colors 01 Crush, 03 Beloved, 04 Lust, 06 Desire and 07 Romance. They were around $7 in CVS (downtown Dallas), which is little higher but I have seen on  social media people got them at around $5.99 too, which is quite affordable. I love Milani Matte color statement lipsticks as they are cruelty free and they are highly pigmented and various colors in it which you pick according to you liking.

Now lets talk about these Amore Matte Lip Crème, they are in the same tube like they had lip gloss before. The tube has golden cap which feels like luxury product. It has flat applicator on both sides which makes it easier to apply on lips. But be careful the applicator does not have too much product on it. It can go out of control and can come out of lines very easily.
It has really sweet candy kind of fragrance . I still don't know which candy, trying to figure out:) but it goes away after some time, it did not bother at all to me.
They are really pigmented and budge proof, kiss proof. I would say that they are perfectly doing all the claims as mentioned on their website, but it did not last for me after lunch, I had normal sandwich that day and it came off, I have shown in swatch below. It is easy to reapply does not go patchy.
According to website they are :-
This revolutionary, highly saturated liquid-to-matte formula dries to a soft, velvety finish for fuller-looking lips. Its double-sided, flexible plush applicator hugs the contours of lips, working to lock in bold, opaque color. Non-sticky, smooth and ready for all-night wear, the limited edition Amore Matte Lip Crème is the ultimate transfer resistant kiss-me-matte.
Swatches:- I will post lip swatches for them separate:)

Like I said I will recommend to everyone who are looking for budget friendly and drugstore options for liquid matte lipsticks. They are worth the hype, grab before they are gone as they are limited edition.

Review L.A.Girl Flat Finish Pigment Gloss

Good Morning Girls,

Here is my review and swatches for LA Girl Flat Finish Pigment Gloss, which I got them recently when I attended Makeup Show from Ricky NYC counter for $5.99 each and I got 20% discount over it. There are total 16 shades in this line. I bought 6 , one each from one color family as I love matte lipsticks and for this price point, it seemed like worth it.

Overall Review:-

Lets talk about the packaging first, it's sturdy and you can actually see the lipstick color from outside clearly. Its plastic tube, and it has doe foot wand applicator, which is flat, and can get the color on both sides which is easier to apply too. It has name mentioned on the lipstick back side with some number too. But as I said you can see the color from outside, so you don't need to remember the name and keep it upside down in your makeup drawers. It has a weird paint smell, which is noticeable once you apply, but it goes away, but you can taste it little longer on lips. I don't really care about it. I am fine with it.

So now lets talk about application, which is my review about. I love the colors selection, they tend to attract you and the price is great too. I was lured into this. Now I think of I should have tested one before, instead of buying all in once. Basically for all matte lipstick I always exfoliate and apply lip balm on my lips. I did the same for them too. I applied the lipstick slowly, so that it does not spread out of lip line and does not get on my teeth at all. I applied first layer and then when it dried I applied second layer. It was pretty pigmented not streaky at all, but still I wanted two layers. It was not budge proof for whole day, as I ate in between and if you eat oily food, it gets off from inner part of your lips. But whole day I was so uncomfortable because of dry lips after sometime my lips were paining and some of the colors got flakey also. It settled into fine lines and then after sometime it got flakey. After I use to apply them , the next day I was only applying olive oil, lip balm only. My lips got so dehydrated, that all the moisture was gone and it chapped.

Overall I really liked the colors and loved the pigmentation and price point, but it did not work for me at all. I wish it would have worked like other people, but it did not. I am not happy with the formulation at all. I have actually taken a lot of time in testing them out and gave them good chance. I really wanted to like them.

Swatches:- I have tested all these lipsticks separately for more than once for whole day. So here are the swatches.

Chitra Pal La Girl Flat Pigment Gloss (1)

From left to right: Bazaar, Timeless, Obsess, Instinct, Frisky, Rebel

As I said I love all the colors they are pretty pigmented and beautiful on lips.

Chitra Pal La Girl Flat Pigment Gloss (5)

I will be doing separate post for lip swatches.

My review is totally my opinion, It can differ from person to person. My intention is not to hurt or offend anyone.

Cheers

OZ Natural's natural Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hi Girls,

Today I want to share something about a great serum, I have been using in my skincare routine.
About the Product:-

It is OZ Natural's natural Hyaluronic Acid Serum which I received complimentary from Brand Backer for testing purposes. Amazing thing is it is cruelty free, does not contain alcohol, paraaben or sulfates and is safe for all  skin types. It has all the benefits for ant aging, ant wrinkle and also plump skin and fills in those fine lines and wrinkles. I don’t have any wrinkles, but I have few fine lines underneath my eyes, which is hereditary. So I don’t think this serum will take them away forever, but it might help me lighten them for sure.

This Hyaluronic Acid Serum is guaranteed to give you that dewy, moisture boost needed to achieve that youthful glow and is proven to reduce skin's fine lines and wrinkles.

This product is made in USA in a state of the art FDA registered facility; OZ Naturals formulates effective anti-aging products.

How I apply: - As per the directions on bottle, it says Wash your face as normal, pat dry and apply thin layer of serum over desired area. Let the serum dry and then apply your favorite moisturizer or cream after HA has completely dried first. The serum will help transport your moisturizer more effectively into your skin. I put the serum in drop directly on my face and use my fingers to distribute it appropriately. I sanitize my hands before. I prefer using in night, when my skin can repair and get all benefits from this serum.

About the Brand

OZ Naturals is a top seller on amazon.com and it’s easy to understand why.

Co-Founder and Certified Esthetician, Angela Irish launched OZ Naturals as a company that embodies everything she's passionate about -- healthy skin, anti-aging, natural ingredients, and utilizing the latest technology to formulate the highest quality skin care products on the market.

Utilizing her personal experience of skin issues, which she understands that when your skin is unhealthy it can negatively affect your self-esteem. After try tons of products over the years she was always left with the same skin issues as before. Sometimes even worse than before. Angela knows how disheartening this can be, especially when so many skin care products make huge claims, and simply do not deliver. It's especially frustrating when the costs of those products are hardly affordable, and you realize once again that you've wasted your money.

While it's true that beautiful skin is also hereditary, healthy skin comes from taking care of the inside and outside of our bodies. However, finding the right products for your skin can be the toughest part of the equation. This is why OZ Naturals was founded, to create healthy, premium skin care products to help those who weren't naturally born with perfect skin, to obtain more perfect skin. The kind of skin that everyone deserves to have.

My Final Thoughts:-

I have been using this serum, for more than two weeks. I don’t want to give any reviews before I use it for some time. I know when you receive any product from a company it is difficult to make decisions if you receive any skin product, it was same for me. I was first skeptical to use any new skin care item on my skin, as I have sensitive skin. But one day when I was finished with one my night cream, so I decided to use this serum for night. I loved it very next morning, my skin was soft and supple like a baby next morning, it was moisturized. Didn’t have any reactions. So the next morning as it was weekend and I just had a few errands to run, so I used it under my BB Cream (with SPF) as suggested and I loved it, as it was dewy whole time. It has Vitamin C and Vitamin E, so I would suggest using in night time, or using good sunscreen on top of it if you are using in morning. I love it, I use to use serum from another brand once and I loved it, but somehow that company discontinued it. After that I have not used any serums for around two years now. I would recommend this product for sure. You can buy this product from Amazon.com click here (OZ Natural's natural Hyaluronic Acid Serum) to buy it.

Cheers

How to Use the Inversion Method to Grow Hair?

Hi Girls,

Recently I have heard so much about Inversion Method to Grow your hair, so I did my research on this and found this step by step process which may help you girls too, who want to grow their hair and struggling with hair fall....hope this helps:)

Want to regrow hair or grow hair faster? One of the most popular ways to do this is through the inversion method. First, you apply oils to your scalp and then you hang your head upside down for a short period of time. Practitioners argue that the increased blood flow to your scalp reinvigorates dormant hair follicles, thus increasing growth. No scientific evidence exists that proves or disproves the inversion method's ability to regrow hair or to grow hair faster on normal scalps. For every success story touting the wonders of the inversion method, there is another debunking its claims. Doctors tend to explain purported results as the product of better hygiene and relaxation, not as the result of some miracle method. Either way, why not try it for yourself?

Part 1 of 2: Applying Oil to Your Head

1. Choose your oil. There is not one agreed upon oil for the inversion method. Try olive oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, or Moroccan argon oil, if you want to use natural ingredients.

· Choose oil with an aroma that you find soothing. Since the inversion method incorporates massage, pick scented oil that you find relaxing.

2 Warm up oil. Warm up around 3-4 tbsp oil. Take a cup of hot water and place your oil bottle in it. You can get this water from the sink. Let the oil sit for a minute or so until it is warm to the touch. Your goal is to increase blood flow to your scalp. Warmer oil will increase the blood retention in your scalp cells. Do not overheat the oil. You don’t want to burn your scalp.

3 Apply oil to your scalp. If you’ve experienced hair loss, make sure that you cover your problem areas first, and then proceed to cover the remainder of your scalp. Make sure that you cover your entire scalp with a thin layer of oil. It doesn't take a lot of oil to achieve full coverage.

4 Comb the oil through the rest of your hair. If your hair tends to split or break, try to spread oil to all of your hair. Hair splits or breaks when it is short on moisture and nutrients. Natural oils will help replenish both.

    • If you have curly hair, be gentle or avoid this step altogether. You don’t want to pull out more hair in the process.

Part 2 of 2: Stimulating Your Hair Follicles

1 Massage gently. With the tips of your fingers, knead your scalp. Move your fingers in little circles - clockwise and then counterclockwise. Don't be afraid to use your palms in addition to your fingers. Your palms can apply pressure to a greater area at one time.

    • Focus on your problem areas, but don’t forget about the rest of your scalp. Do not massage too hard or you might unintentionally rip out hair or damage hair follicles. Massage for 4 minutes and then stop.

2 Tip your head upside down. You can do this over a sink or bathtub. Alternatively, you could choose to sit upside down in a chair with your legs over the back of the chair. No matter how you choose to do it, let your hair hang loosely and hold your head at a comfortable angle. Your goal is to find a comfortable position and to relax.

3 Hold this position for 4 minutes. This step allows the oils to seep further into your scalp and to bring blood to your scalp. Take deep breaths. Clear your mind. Relax. This step resembles meditation.

4 Sit back up. You don't want to remain upside down too long. It can cause an unhealthy spike in blood pressure.

    • Do not try the inversion method if you have low or high blood pressure, a detached retina, an ear infection, a spinal injury, heart problems, a hernia, or are pregnant. The inversion position itself could exacerbate your condition or cause further injury.

5. Consider leaving the oil on for a longer period of time. If you have an incredibly dry scalp, this might be a good decision. Some suggest leaving it in your hair for a couple of hours or even overnight.

    • Take a plastic bag and cover your hair so you don't get any oil on your clothes, furniture, or bed. You can use a normal grocery bad or purchase a plastic wrap meant for hair treatments. You can purchase these from any beauty shop.
    • If you decide to leave the oil in your hair for longer period of time, know that it could make your scalp and hair too oily. This could cause your follicles to clog up rather than grow new hair.

6 Wash your hair. Be sure to completely rinse out all the leftover oil. If you miss a spot, it will be far "greasier" than the other parts of your head. Make sure that you don’t use a harsh shampoo. Harsher shampoos (with a pH higher than 7) will strip your hair’s natural oils. Shampoos like L'Oreal EverCreme Intense Nourishing or Heads and Shoulders work well. Generally, any shampoo geared towards dry scalps has lower pH balances.

7 Repeat every 3-4 weeks. Depending on your personal condition, you might find it helpful to perform this treatment every 3 weeks. Repeated use at a higher frequency could make your hair too oily and may even clog your hair follicles, further reducing your hair growth potential.

    • Results will vary based on the person. Some may see results after the first use while others with more chronic follicle problems may not see results for several months.

So what do you think girls, are you going to give it a try? I will try this for sure. I have curly hair, and it does not grow that much. So I am definitely going to try this technique. But no technique works if you are stressed and do not eat or sleep well. Its all about taking care of you :)

Enjoy and Smile always:)
